Why use an interactive PDF?
Interactive PDFs give readers the option to look at pages as though they were a printed magazine. This means you can look at complete spread as it was originally intended. It also allows you to search through a document for a specific article, email on an article and save and download an article as a PDF.
How do I use an interactive PDF?
- To move forward or back through the magazine, use the arrow icons in the tool bar
- To zoom in on a piece of text, click on the area of interest; to zoom back out, click again
- To select an area of a page as a cutting, use the mouse to click and drag a box around it. To save it press save and close. This can now be accessed from Saved Clippings, on the left hand menu
- To send an article to a colleague select the envelope icon from the tool bar
- To save a page as a PDF, select the PDF icon in the tool bar
- To search the magazine for a specific term, use the search area in the tool bar
